PZ Cussons Chemisty Challenge

The PZ Chemistry challenge is organized by PZ cussons, the makers of premier soap and nunu milk.

The competition is open to all ss2 students in Lagos state Nigeria only. To participate in this competition, your school will have to do the registration. Not more than 3 students is allowed from a school and every mixed school registering must include at least one female as the school representative.

The competition is an exciting one and involves 4 stages.

First stage: every screened candidate will write a written quiz (MCQ) at this stage

Second stage:  only the best 100 from the first stage qualifies for the second stage. It is also a written quiz (MCQ)

Third stage: only the best 24 candidates qualifies for this third stage. This stage is strictly practical on chemistry and no written quiz is involved.

Fourth/Final stage: only the best 6 candidate from the third stage qualifies for this final stage. The 6 qualifying candidate will slug it out on stage in front of a live audience for a chance to be crowned the PZCCC champion for the year.


Only the 4 finalist from the final stage is rewarded.

1st prize

STUDENT: N700000 & a Laptop

TEACHER: N100000

SCHOOL: N100000 worth of Laboratory equipment

2nd prize

STUDENT: N450000 & a Laptop


SCHOOL: N70000 worth of Laboratory equipment

3rd prize

STUDENT: N350000 & a Laptop


SCHOOL: N70000 worth of Laboratory equipment


4th prize

STUDENT: N250000 & a Laptop


SCHOOL: N60000 worth of Laboratory equipment.
